As Vermont and Vermonters settle into their winter rhythms, the colors and fragrance of our gardens fades into the pages of seed catalogues with their promise of bounty when spring returns.

But I’m not ready to let go of the flowers and fruit yet so I thought we might enjoy a few moments of joyful bliss together for the month of December.
