G.G. Dieppe, now campaigning full-time for the open seat on the Carding select board, is feeling pretty chuffed these days.

Her town-wide mailing had a distinct sheen of professionalism sadly lacking among the local candidates. And her friends who live in the condos and houses surrounding the Mount Merino Country Club assure G.G. that all will be well come election day.

But wait, is that a dissenting voice I hear among the members of the quilt guild that G.G. controls?
