Carding’s Progressive Tree Trimming party was last weekend, and it sounds like everyone had a good time.
In fact, the turnout this year was the largest by far, and even included a couple of teenagers. They may have wandered in for the cookies but they stayed for the stories.
The one that Andy Cooper always tells is about his great-grandfather Wallace’s memorable ride on a sketchy train on the longest night of the year.
