A 36-minute Video

You know, I have long admired the people of Britain who stood up to Hitler during World War II. My husband tells a story about a woman he knew when he was very young–he describes her as tiny, birdlike–who wielded an antiaircraft gun during the Blitz.

I’ve often wondered how I would act in those circumstances, would I be brave enough to do what is required for freedom? I’ve often wondered how the people I know would act.

Today, after the second execution of an American citizen in Minneapolis by federal agents, I don’t have to wonder any more because we’re all finding out what we are made of, who we can trust to act with us, and who will do nothing which, to me, is the same as siding with the people destroying our country.

This video is from Heather Cox Richardson, recorded earlier today, and I think she lays out the facts—and the choices—very clearly. Sitting on the sidelines is no longer an option, folks. It is time for all of us to participate.
