I am working diligently on my next Carding novel, tentatively titled The Dazzling Uncertainty of Life.
This one centers around the Bennett family—Faye (who’s 13), her mother Diana, her father Stephen, and her brother Wil (age 16).
Faye’s grandmother is Edie Wolfe, the woman that folks in town think of as Carding’s matriarch (even though she really doesn’t like that title).
I write every weekday morning, pushing myself to put down 1,500 words a day. I’m about a third of the way through the first draft at this point.
