I will be in Lowell, Massachusetts tomorrow as part of the New England Quilt Museum’s teacher presentation day.
I present a program called “Stitching Together a Writer’s Life” to guilds, historical societies, writers groups, and social service organizations. The program includes sharing quilts I’ve made for my books, stories about the woes and triumphs of publishing, the Parkinson’s Comfort Project, and how all of my interests finally found a home together in my Carding, Vermont novels.

This is the second time I’ve been invited to participate and it is great fun because you get to see and hear all of these wonderful teachers talk about what they do, meet members of guilds from around New England, and get to see some incredible quilts.
Plus I’m riding down and back with my friend Nancy.
Road trip!
